A webonboarding session at this year’s HRSS18 event will take a look at why companies throughout the globe are failing to effectively manage their HR process for new hires.
The expert seminar at the CIPD HR Software and Recruitment Show 2018 will analyse the findings of a 2017 global survey which found that 39 percent of employees have had negative onboarding experiences.
And for nearly one-in-five (19%) of these respondents, the negative first impressions had caused them to leave their jobs within the first few months - ramping up costs and eating into HR resources.
The special webonboarding showcase session will dig behind the figures to look at the root cause of this global failure to manage onboarding - the HR process to bring new hires into a business.
It will also present practical ways in which HR teams can start to tackle this deficit and the crucial role technology has to play in improving the onboarding experience for new hires.
